Creepin on people

It never gets old.  "Creeping" on people to draw them is one of my favorite ways to practice the figure.  I suggest it to everyone.
Anyway here's some sketches I've done semi-recently...please ignore the notes on the sides of the page lol
and look I actually scanned pics in this time- wow!
Thinking of starting an adult-difficulty activity book XD tell me you wouldn't be interested in connect the dots and color in the lines motha-fuckin extra difficulty.  Hm just an fun idea if I ever have enough time or money...same goes for a graphic novel- if I ever get an idea for it haha

another drawing update!

I have been brainstorming for more illustrative ideas! I am trying to stray away from the completely realistic and figure art and try to get more thematic ideas.  ...Although I am having trouble getting some inspiration... it's all a work in progress.
More "exciting" and "narrative" pieces to come (mainly for my PORTFOLIO), until then... here's some more figure drawing! wheee!

three min gestures

one min gestures
blind contours

I've been told this works well with paintings...

Hmm very cool- taken from http://jbarrettart.com/?page_id=698

Hands!

This was done all in 6B graphite.  At least...I think it's graphite? Something called a "graphstick" so I assume so.

AND ALSO
I GOT INTO THE SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS.  I really was not expecting this, but it looks like I'm on my way to New York for the student exhibition! ...Here!

wheeee... well back to homework XD

oh btw

heres a sketch of a hand study I am doing. ps- the hand family is totally getting robbed.
More to come

Less is MORE

some gestures...

And here's the long pose...
blahh- I cannot render shading to save my life, so chicken scratch everryyywherrree!
I think my problem is spending too much time measuring every angle.  So by the time I start to shade I have like 20 mins to finish... XD I'm trying to manage my time better.  Anyway charcoal pencil and I are not on great terms.

Here's my underpainting-sort of - for a self portrait- this will involve smashed car parts and me in the middle of the street

wips and previews

3rd day of working on painting- face detail coming soon lol
eeh sorry about the photo quality!

Here's some sketches for my upcoming self portrait.
No reference and crappy colored pencil is funny

Here's some sketches I found while digging for these, including my original concept for my tree picture done in ink.

HMM wouldn't it be funny if I posted some of my high school and grade school work?! Embarrassing HILARITY.  I think it should have to happen simply for your entertainment
