#96 OH YEAH I made a sculpture.

I made this guy at the end of this school year.  It was my second official sculpey sculpture thingy.

I am pretty proud of it and would love to mess around with this sculpture business more in the next couple months!

This was for the fact "Vikings, despite common belief, were actually extremely clean and hygienic."  My viking dude is using the poor guy's helmet to shave.

Ah yes, he looks even more beautiful against my crapy pleather couch.

#88 Character Design- Board Game

My advertizing team and I are assigned to create a board game from scratch.  I was in charge of making the game pieces and characters for the graphics and cards, as well as designing the "book covers".

This was a pretty fun project considering what I've had to put up with this "team" class all year.

trying different styles

Africa

Asia

South America

Australia

Europe

Antarctica

North America

Above are the character designs and below are the book cover designs.  The game is called "culture Quest" and all the characters represent a certain continent.  Here, each character has a book in which they will have a unique adventure.  One of my other team members put the text on them, so I don't really have names for them or their little books!  You can make up adventures for them, instead.  ;)

And the game pieces!

THESE ONES were lost and I had to make new ones :(

but it's ok! THESE ONES turned out great :)

Africa- Elephant
Asia- Small boat
South America- Submarine
Australia- Airplane
Europe- Hot Air Balloon
Antarctica- Large Boat
North America- Grand Prix Car

I used pretty shiny paint, so that was fun.

Here's the final game all together!

#79 Carl, the space rancher

Finished piece for 3D illustration.  Yes, he's a falcon of sorts.  I'm decently happy with how it turned out, despite the real lack of effort put into it... more sculpey practice, here I come!

It may look primitive for galactic travel, but it packs a lazer punch, boy.

Haha kinda crappy photos, but you get the idea.  By the way, metallic paint is WAY too fun!

#71 Charcoallll

Some new commercial figure drawings... I now know the power of vine charcoal :D

"I am king of the dwarves. Gwarr!"

Also here's a sculpture I've been working on (when I can)...

Its a cowboy birdman from the future

don't ask
